About BackPoW

BackPoW is a free, independent data site for Proof of Work mining, run by one person. It tracks 117+ networks and 856+ mining devices.

What it does

For each network, BackPoW shows the cost of production, solo mining block odds, hardware profitability and the available solo pools. The same data is open through a free public API and an MCP server for AI assistants.

How the numbers are made

Network, market and hardware data are refreshed daily, and every figure is derived from those inputs rather than typed into a page. Figures are estimates: the methodology explains the model and its limits. Nothing on the site is financial advice.
